What is MOCCA
The Museum of Contemporary Chilean Art, MOCCA, is an online museum created with the objective of promoting contemporary Chilean artists who, otherwise, would have a difficult time showing and selling their work abroad. Given the phenomenon of globalization, MOCCA also invites artists from other countries, thus opening the doors of Chile to them, and connecting them with the rest of the world.
MOCCA began its promotional focus in Asia, while simultaneously working to penetrate markets in America, Europe and Oceania.
Why a name in English if we promote Chilean art? Because it's a universal language, most likely to be understood by the target market. Currently, MOCCA's website is available in English and Spanish; in the future, we will also include versions in French, German, Dutch and Asian languages.
